This fair provides an opportunity for teachers and teacher candidates to learn about employment opportunities with school districts in the next school year. This fair also provides a venue for school districts to interview Colorado Mesa University students, alumni, teacher candidates from other colleges, and community teachers. At the fair, candidates can meet formally with school districts, learn about their hiring needs, and even interview for open positions. Fair Schedule:

8-9am                       School Districts arrive to check-in and set-up
8:30-9am                  Teachers arrive to check-in
9-10am                     School Districts prescreen teachers & schedule interviews   
10am-5pm                Interviews will be conducted between school districts and teachers
11:45am-1:15pm      Lunch - University Center, Rooms 221 and 222

 District Registration Information

  • To register:  We have a new registration process this year. Please click on the button above and then click on School District Registration, which will take you to the registration page. When you reach the payment page, you can pay by credit card or mail a check to CMU-Career Services.
  • Registration deadline is February 26th or until the fair spaces are full.
  • Fees:  The $100 registration fee includes Wi-Fi, one lunch, one parking pass, and one table with chairs. Additional lunches, tables, and parking passes may be purchased when you register for the event.  All fees are non-refundable.

  • Colorado Mesa University students and alumni attend at no charge. A registration form is required.
  • Community teachers, including teachers from other colleges, are invited. A registration form and a fee of $20 is required. All fees are non-refundable.
