We offer a variety of services to aid employers in filling their positions with CMU students and/or alumni. Our goal is to assist in matching the best candidate with the best company. Employers must adhere to our Employer Policies when using our services. The University reserves the right to refuse any employer the access to recruit on campus.

On-Campus Recruiting Options:

  • Reserve a table or room to recruit students in a high-traffic area on campus (Most Common)
  • Participate on guest speaker panels
  • Conduct on-campus interviews for internships, part-time, and full-time jobs
  • Provide an informational meeting for students to learn more about your company or organization 
  • Schedule student interview times

Employers must adhere to our Employer Policies when using our services


Three campus visits may be scheduled for each semester. Semesters include Fall (August - December), and Spring (January - May), exceptions may be made for each semester.

Employers are required to remain at their assigned table for the duration of the campus visit and allow interested students to approach them. Employers are not allowed to roam the campus and approach students as they walk across campus going to class or other activities. We do not want students to feel uncomfortable by employers' unwanted solicitations. Employers can have access to the students to discuss job opportunities in a structured and expected forum. If employers want to provide food or beverages for any visit or meeting in CMU facilities, they must contract them through campus dining services by calling 970-248-1414.

 

Assist with Workshops or Classroom Presentations

Be our consultant on interviewing and resume strategies, provide feedback on the current trends in hiring, and have the opportunity to meet students and get a sneak peak at the future workforce.
