We offer a variety of services to aid employers in filling their positions with CMU students and/or alumni. Our goal is to assist in matching the best candidate with the best company. Employers must adhere to our Employer Policies when using our services. The University reserves the right to refuse any employer the access to recruit on campus.

To utilize any of these services, contact Career Services:

On-Campus Recruiting Options:

  • Participate on guest speaker panels
  • Conduct on-campus interviews for internships, part-time, and full-time jobs
  • Reserve a table or room to recruit students in a high-traffic area on campus
  • Provide an informational meeting for students to learn more about your company or organization
  • Schedule student interview times

Employers must adhere to our Employer Policies when using our services.

We provide these services for scheduled visitations:

  • Provide students company literature you supply
  • Send an email to students announcing your visit
  • Post the visitation on our Upcoming Events web page
  • Send an email to students announcing your visit

Three campus visits may be scheduled for each semester. Semesters include Fall (August - December), Spring (January - May), exceptions may be made for each semester.

Employers are required to remain at their assigned table for the duration of the campus visit and allow interested students to approach them. Employers are not allowed to roam the campus and approach students as they walk across campus going to class or other activities. We do not want students feeling uncomfortable by employers' unwanted solicitations. Employers can have access to the students to discuss job opportunities in a structured and expected forum. If employers want to provide food or beverages for any visit or meeting in CMU facilities, they must contract them through campus dining services by calling 970-248-1414.

COVID19 Employer Policies

We are taking necessary precautions pertaining to COVID19 when coordinating on-campus recruitment. In order to abide by social distancing and school guidelines we will be requiring the following for on-campus recruitment this Fall 2020 semester:

  • Only one recruiter per employer table
  • Recruiter must wear a face mask at all times, while inside the University Center

To coordinate an on-campus recruitment table please email Kayley Vogel.
