Students are the heart of the department and come from diverse backgrounds. Some students are just starting their academic careers; some are transfer students; many come from beyond Colorado; they are returning after a break from their studies; or pursuing a second degree; following their passion or just looking for a change.
All of our students possess different talents, learning styles and career goals. Despite the diversity in their backgrounds our students have common goals. They are driven to succeed and determined to develop their creativity as they explore new ideas, techniques and approaches in their scholarly art-making endeavors.
