About Me

I was born in Montrose, Colorado and spent my first eight years exploring southwestern Colorado and developing a love for the mountains with my family. At eight years old, my family moved to Frisco, Texas. We continued to visit Colorado and I have always considered Colorado "home." After graduating college there was no doubt in my mind I wanted to return to the Rocky Mountains, so I landed in the Denver Metro Area where I taught elementary for three years before beginning my journey here at CMU! In my free time, I enjoy getting outdoors, visiting the library and spending time with my family and friends.

Favorite thing about Grand Junction

I affirm the West Slope, Best Slope motto and appreciate the community feel and accessibility to the outdoors found here. Watching the sunrise at Colorado National Monument is always a beautiful and awe-inspiring experience. I also highly recommend Octopus Coffee, especially their cinnamon sweet rolls!
