About me

I was born and raised in Fresno, California. I moved to Rocky Ford, Colorado in 2010 and graduated from Swink High School in 2014. I graduated from Otero Junior College with my associate of science degree in 2015 and transferred to Colorado Mesa University in the fall of 2015. I graduated from CMU with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Teacher Education. During my time at CMU, I was a student ambassador and fell in love with meeting prospective students and their families. Becoming an admissions counselor was something I had never really thought of, but I really liked the idea of guiding students as they make the transition from high school to college.

Favorite things about Grand Junction

I love the town of Grand Junction and the surrounding area. Downtown Grand Junction is a great place to wander around, get some good food, and browse the shops and art galleries. The Grand Mesa and the Colorado National Monument offer plenty of recreational activities, in addition to some beautiful views. One of my favorite places to eat is the Hot Tomato in Fruita - it has some of the best pizza I have ever had! There are also some beautiful golf courses in the area. I really enjoy exploring the western slope!
