Career Pathways

Western Colorado Community College’s Career Pathways is an innovative model for student success and workforce development.

Career Pathways certificates require five to 38 credits, may be completed in less than a year and prepares students for employment in industries while also providing a stepping stone to an associate degree, bachelor’s degree and beyond.

Career Pathways gives students options and will increase college success and completion.

Prepare. Connect. Complete.

We connect students with resources and classes so they can complete their Career Pathway, find an internship, a job and continue their education. We can also help plan for futures — whether new to the workforce, changing careers or advancing in a field.

Complete College

Career Pathways gives students options, since credentials are stackable and may be used toward a degree. Students have options to advance their education and career over time. They may also come back and complete a degree after taking a break, finish additional education while working or continue on to a degree.

Jobs

Career Pathways leads to jobs that are in-demand and offers opportunities for advancement. We have pathways to fit every student: whether looking for a new career, wanting to advance in a field, needing some skills to get back into the workforce quickly, or just starting out and looking for that first job.
