Best thing about being a tutor: I really enjoy helping students understand concepts. Seeing that "A-ha" moment is big payoff.
Best thing about the TLC: The TLC is a great place for knowledge. There are so many tutors with different experiences, different knowledge sets and different styles, there is something for everyone to learn!
Advice for students: Most homework is a great way to study for tests and make sure you can understand concepts.

Best thing about being a tutor: Seeing students succeed is the best reward for tutoring, and I love helping them to gain that success.

Best thing about the TLC: The TLC is great because we have so many tutors qualified in so many different subjects that no matter what you are looking for, you can get help, and everyone is incredibly friendly!

Advice for students: DON'T procrastinate! Start studying early and in little chunks rather than cramming it all in at the end.

Best thing about being a tutor: Tutoring helps me review foundational concepts while      having fun helping motivated students.

Best thing about the TLC: I get to hang out with other nerds.

Advice for students: Do your math and physics homework every day, be precise in your notation, and get the concepts figured out.

Advice for Students: Know what you are having trouble with before you come in and see a tutor. We can’t answer your questions if you don’t know what they are.

Favorite thing about tutoring: My favorite thing about tutoring is seeing a fellow student catch on to a concept. I also enjoy seeing his/her excitement when that happens.
Advice for Students: Coming to the TLC is never a bad thing. People that come are trying to better themselves, and that is what really matters!
