At Colorado Mesa University, we understand that the process of transferring from another college or university to complete your education can seem challenging. We can help. The resources on these pages will guide you on your path to becoming a Maverick. Once you've evaluated your existing credit hours to see how they'll transfer, we encourage you to visit campus for a first-hand feel for life at CMU.
CMU's Career Ladders
This program structure minimizes loss of credit by linking 2- and 4-year
programs-a near seamless transfer for students and allows for stop-out to work, family issues, etc. Career ladder programs encourage continued education of community college students, and those programs awarding a Bachelor of Applied Science are especially attractive for students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science. Programs currently offering a career ladder option are Business, Computer Information Systems, Construction Technology/Management, Criminal Justice, Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Nursing, Public Admin/Public Safety, and Radiologic Technology. Please contact the appropriate academic department for more information.
