Student Wellness Center
Student wellness is important for a successful college experience. The CMU Student Wellness Center's goal is to provide integrated quality, accessible health care. medical treatment, prevention and behavioral health services to students and their dependents, similar to the services of a family physician and counselor.
- Physical examinations, pap smears, etc.
- Diagnosis and treatment of illness
- Injury treatment and follow-up care
- Health education/counseling and pamphlets
- Diagnostic laboratory and radiology services
- Family planning education and birth control
The Student Health Center is not health insurance. Students may access a medical provider with a $15 copay and a counselor with a $5 copay. Further tests, treatments, and exams are the responsibility of the student's insurance. Fees for these procedures are outlined on the student health services fee schedule, available at the health center. Students will also be provided support in getting signed up for insurance or may purchase health insurance here.
