Spanish Major

Spanish Language and Literature Track

Majors in the Spanish Language and Literature track gain valuable insights into the Spanish language and the histories and cultures of Spain and Latin America. In addition, advanced students go on to examine in depth specific genres (poetry, prose, theatre and film) as well as certain periods, regions, and trends through representative authors. Similarly, majors will investigate in depth the sound system of the Spanish language.
