Originally born in Richmond, Virginia, Vincent Zawada has spent the past 14 years living in either Colorado or Savannah, Georgia. He holds both a B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and currently works as an Instructor of Art at Mesa State College. Vince also works full time as a freelance illustrator and his works have been published in magazines such as Boy's Life, Savannah Magazine, Charleston, The Boston Common, L.A. Confidential, St. Anthony Messenger and more. Vince recently received a 2nd Place award for an illustration submitted to a thirty year juried alumni exhibition at the Savannah College of Art and Design. His work is all painted in acrylics and can viewed online at www.vincentzawada.com Outside of both teaching and creating art, Vince is also an avid fly fisher and spends most of his free time searching for trout in the rivers and lakes of Colorado.
