Dr. Werman received his doctoral degree in Biology from the University of Miami in 1986. He then completed a three year postdoctoral research fellowship in molecular biology at Caltech in 1989. His specialties are molecular genetics and herpetology. He is currently a Full Professor of Biology and the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs.
