Biography
While serving as the Colorado Mesa University Head Certified Athletic Trainer for 19 years (85-91), (92-05), Robert was instrumental in the development and initial accreditation of the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP). In 2005 Robert took the position of Program Director for the ATEP and has guided the program thru a successful re-accreditation.
He holds a BA degree in Biology from the University of Colorado-Boulder, a MA degree in Mechanical Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently completing course work for a doctoral degree from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Robert is active with the Western Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross and serves as an instructor trainer for numerous courses in First Aid and CPR. He also currently serves as the Secretary of the Colorado Athletic Trainers’ Association.
