Madge Becker is an assistant professor in The Center for Teacher Education at
Colorado Mesa University since 2004. Dr. Becker has worked in K-12 school districts in
Colorado and Arizona. She has been an Interim Superintendent, Principal of an
Intermediate and Alternative High School, Director of a Career Ladder Program and
Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Currently, Dr. Becker is Coordinator of the Title III
Language Acquisition Grant and coordinates the English for Speakers of Other
Languages Masters Program. She teaches Research, Curriculum, and ELL Secondary
Strategies for the Masters Program and one undergraduate Foundation of Education
class. She completed her Masters in Special Education and her Doctorate in Curriculum
and Instruction from Northern Arizona University.
