B.A., University of Montana (Social Work), 1992; M.A., (Social Work) Walla Walla University, 2002; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), 2005.  Professor Owens’ primary research interests include mental health, aging, child welfare and clinical.  Her courses include Introduction to Social Work, Social Work Practices in Mental Health, Case Management, Social Welfare Policy, and Child Welfare.  Professor Owens also coordinates and supervises academic internships for students obtaining a minor in social work.
