Where do you want to live next year?
Students who currently live on campus go through a Room Selection process that does not require an additional deposit. All steps of the Room Selection process are completed online through the My Housing portal. To access My Housing, log into MAVzone and select the Campus Life tab.
To select your room and roommates complete three easy steps. Priority will be given to students based on the date you submit the 2017-2018 Room Selection Application and the number of credit hours you have earned. If you do not complete the 2017-2018 Room Selection process, Colorado Mesa University reserves the right to make room assignments for those required to live on campus.
Step 1 - Submit the 2017-2018 Room Selection Application
9am on 3/6/17 - 4pm on 3/16/17 Those students who apply before 4pm on 3/10/17 will be given priority when selecting their rooms.
Step 2 - Submit roommate requests
9am on March 3/13/17 - 4pm on 3/17/17
Step 3 - Select your room for the 2017-2018 academic year!
9am on 3/27/17 - 4pm on 3/31/17
If you complete Step 1 and Step 2 above within the time frames provided, your start time and date for Room Selection will be viewable in My Housing by 3/22/17. You may select your room at any time after the assigned date and time through 4:00PM on 3/31/17. However, rooms are available on a first come first serve basis so options may be limited the longer you wait.
Be sure to regularly check your CMU email for additional details about each step in the Room Selection process.

What about Off-Campus?
Please review our Residency Policy to see if you qualify for an exemption to our policy which requires all first and second year students to live on campus. If you qualify for an exemption, you must apply and be approved for an exemption by Residence Life before you will be eligible to live off-campus. Exemption applications will be available in March 2017 for the 2017-2018 academic year.
