The Colorado Mesa University Department of Art and Design is hosting three informational meetings for students, alumni and community members who would like to travel to Europe next January to enrich their knowledge of fine art.
Professor Suzie Garner will lead participants into the rich history of Europe’s world-renowned centers of art: Paris, Florence, Assisi and Rome. Scheduled excursions to the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Colosseum, Vatican City, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and more are planned.
The informational meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, February 28; Tuesday, March 7; and Tuesday, March 14. All are at 7:00pm in room 302 of the Fine Arts Building.
Space on the trip is limited and a $50 deposit is due by March 22 to guarantee a slot. Stop by a meeting or contact Suzie Garner at 970.248.1444 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The trip is offered through Explorica Travel. Monthly payment plans are available. An optional three credit-hour course is available for students who want to earn Essential Learning Fine Art (ARTE 115 Art Appreciation) credit in the 2018 January term.
