Culinary alumnus appears on “Colorado Matters”

WCCC alumnus Lee Mathis, Founder of Decadence Gourmet Cheesecakes, was profiled by “Colorado Matters”, a daily interview show from Colorado Public Radio. The interview was an installment in the show’s “Fish to Focaccia” series about Coloradans who make food for farmer’s markets.

Mathis discussed his company’s innovative Cheesecakes in a Jar, a development he credits to a joking remark made by Dan Kirby, Assistant Technical Professor and Program Coordinator for Culinary Arts. Decadence Gourmet Cheesecakes are available throughout the Grand Valley and have recently expanded to include parts of the east coast. Mathis’ full interview is available at http://goo.gl/m1awCs.
