The Maverick wins gold

Feb6The 2013 series of CMU’s alumni magazine, The Maverick, won a gold award in the Collegiate Advertising Awards based on creativity, layout and design, typography, production, quality and overall effectiveness. This is the second award garnered by the magazine — in November, two issues were named gold winners by the MarCom Awards, which recognize creativity in publication.

“I’m extremely proud of the work that we did as a team,” said Jeremy Smith, Senior Graphic Artist and Creative Projects Manager at Colorado Mesa. “It’s a cool honor and I’m proud to bring the recognition to CMU.” The next issue of The Maverick will be released in early March.
