Whether you are student living on campus, a student who lives off campus or a faculty/staff member, we have a meal plan for you!
Our meal plans offer the flexibility to eat in our "all you care to eat" dining hall or one of our retail dining locations. The plans are set up with flexibility in mind.

Resident Meal Plans
Welcome to living and learning at Colorado Mesa University. For students living in Pinon Hall, Tolman Hall, Mary Rait Hall, Albers Hall, Elm Hall, Monument Hall, Grand Mesa Hall, North Avenue Residence Hall and Bunting Residence Hall you will be required to participate in one of our resident meal plans.
New for Fall 2011, a Grab n' Go option has been added for the lunch period of 11am -1:15pm. This option is available for pick up in the Bookcliff Cafe or Sandella's @ Houston Hall. Once a meal has been picked up, your card will be swiped and you will not be able to re-enter the dining hall until after 1:15pm. This is a perfect option for those who are running in between classes and want a quick meal on the go.
Proposed 2012-2013 Residential Meal Plans:
Meal plans for the 2012-2013 resident students will be a choice of Meal Plan A or Meal Plan B. Both plans will come with $200 of MAVmoney for the year. Pricing will be available July 1.
There are many advantages to our Resident Meal Plans.
- All you care to eat in the dining hall. Visit us as many times during the day as you wish. Just use your Mesa State MAVcard to verify your plan and you are on your way.
- Choose from 2 base meal plans that allow your day to begin at breakfast, 6:45am; or if you prefer at 10:30am.
- The Dining Hall is open until 8:00pm (Expanded Hours)
- Choose from $400 or $200 in MAVmoney per year, added to the base meal plan.
- MAVmoney gives you the ability to grab a snack or meal at one of our many retail locations on campus and on the Western Colorado Community College campus. Flexibility, that is what we are about!
- To Go meals, sack lunches, and sick trays are available to you!
- Do you have a special dietary request? Talk with our campus dining staff to make sure we have the selections for you!

*These meal plans must be purchased through the Residence Life Office.
Note: Residential Meal Plans and MAVmoney will expire on June 30th of each year.
Commuter Meal Plans (MAV Plans)
For students living in the Walnut Ridge Apartments, North Avenue Apartments, or in other off campus residences, there are meal plans created just for YOU! Let us do the cooking and cleaning for you. By staying on campus for a snack or meal, you won't lose that "great" parking space you found during the day!
There are many advantages to our MAV Plans:
- All you care to eat in the dining hall. Visit us as many times during the day as you wish. Just use your Mesa State MAVcard to verify your plan and you are on your way. Per meal cost is less than the average cash price at the dining hall door!
- MAVmoney is included with all commuter meal plans. MAVmoney gives you the ability to grab a snack at retail locations around campus and on the Western Colorado Community College campus. Flexibility: that is what we are about!
- Dine when and where you want. We have options from 6:45am-12am almost everyday!
- Let US clean up for you! You will have more time to study.

40 anytime dining hall meals and $50 in MAVmoney which can be used at any of the campus dining locations.
MAV 80 $605.00
80 anytime dining hall meals and $100 in MAVmoney which can be used at any of the campus dining locations.

Faculty/Staff Meal Plans
Looking for a quick meal? Don't want to lose your parking space? Ready for a value? Then one of these plans is for you. Let us take the guess work out of what to eat and cleaning up. Visit us at the Dining Hall in the University Center where you are sure to find a variety every day at every meal.
Faculty/Staff 10 Meals $58.00
This includes 10 anytime meals in the dining hall. There is no MAVmoney attached to this plan.
Faculty/Staff 25 Meals $134.50
This includes 25 anytime meals in the dining hall. There is no MAVmoney attached to this plan.
The Faculty/Staff 10 meals plan and 25 meals plan may be purchased in the MAVcard Office.

MAVmoney comes with our resident meal plans and MAV Plans. MAVmoney is an on campus declining balance account that can be used at any of the campus dining services locations.
