Help Desk Frequently Asked Questions

The Information Technology & Communications Help Desk is your primary point of contact for all IT related issues including:

  • Usernames and passwords
  • Desire 2 Learn
  • MAVzone
  • Microsoft Office products
  • Smart classroom equipment
  • Video conferencing
  • Telephone installs and changes
  • Groupwise email
  • Connecting to the wireless network
  • Desktop computer hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • Desktop software installation and troubleshooting
  • Network file storage

If your question or request cannot be resolved on the phone, the IT Help Desk will escalate the problem to the appropriate technician.

Hours of Operation

During the fall and spring semesters, the InformationTechnology Help Desk is available during the following times.

 

Sunday

1 P.M. to 9 P.M.

Monday

8 A.M to 9 P.M.

Tuesday

8 A.M to 9 P.M.

Wednesday

8 A.M to 9 P.M.

Thursday

8 A.M to 9 P.M.

Friday

8 A.M to 5 P.M.

Saturday

10 A.M to 5 P.M.

During other times, the Help Desk is available 8:00 - 5:00.

Three Ways to Contact the

Information Technology Help Desk

  1. Telephone - call 970.248.2111
  2. Enter a ticket - Log into MAVzone and click on the Help Desk icon in the upper right hand corner, or go to http://whd.coloradomesa.edu and log in with your MAVzone username and password
  3. In Person - go to the computer lab located in Room 120 of the Tomlinson Library
