Retirees of Colorado Mesa University  

This page is designed to provide information to Colorado Mesa University Retirees.  A Colorado Mesa University retiree is defined as a faculty member, administrative professional or state classified employee who separates employment with Colorado Mesa University and who, at the time of separation, has attained the age of 55 with at least 20 years of Colorado Mesa University service or who has attained the age of 60 with at least 5 years of consecutive Colorado Mesa University service immediately proceeding the date of separation.  This definition does not affect the determinations of retiree status of those employees born on or before January 1, 1951 and who have been employed continuously at Colorado Mesa University since on or before December 31, 1991.

Retiree Health Insurance Coverage:

A Faculty or Administrative Colorado Mesa University Retiree may elect health insurance coverage through Colorado Mesa University, provided by Rocky Mountain Health Plans.  A retiree must be enrolled in the Colorado Mesa University Health Insurance Plan as of their retirement date to be eligible and must elect continued coverage.  Plan options include:
