Our residence halls range from the traditional to the newest-of-the-new suites and apartments. Wherever you choose to live on our beautiful campus, Residence Life is committed to helping you to create a welcoming, dynamic, and inclusive community.
A reminder that all first-year and second year students are required to live on-campus. Also, all on-campus students are required to have a meal plan, unless they live in an on-campus apartment.

Our Walnut Ridge and North Avenue Student Apartments are only open to sophomores and above. We consider our apartments the next step before moving off campus. Our goal is to assist students creating and sustaining independence. Policies are different than in the halls, there are not as many staff programs or activities, however our apartments are still alcohol and drug free.
Part of living on campus means you get to be right in the action of everything going on at Colorado Mesa University. Many programs and activities take place right in your hall or apartment complex. Each year, the Residence Life staff put on over 50 programs per hall. This give you a great opportunity to meet new people, learn more about Grand Junction or Colorado Mesa University and maybe even gain new knowledge on a topic you wanted to learn more about.
