Center for Transfer Services

The Center for Transfer Services can ease the transition for transfer students, many of whom are concerned with how many of the credits they have earned elsewhere may be applied toward their Colorado Mesa University degree programs.

Transfer Services completes preliminary transcript evaluations, assists with solving transfer problems and participates in scheduling and advising. The services are available to both transfer students and faculty who may be working with a transfer student.

The Center will also coordinate with community colleges to communicate with students before they transfer to Colorado Mesa University.

For a preliminary evaluation of credit, contact the Center for Transfer Services at 1.800.982.6372 ext.1232.

* Note: The Registrar's Office will automatically send out a transfer equivalency report once you are formally accepted to the institution.

60/60 Transfer Guide Agreements

The 60/60 Transfer Guides are for students who complete an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree at a Colorado community college. These guides comply with the 2009 statewide GT Pathways program in general education. To accomplish this, the student must 1) complete any required courses at the community college, 2) follow the planned course sequence layout for each semester, 3) meet all degree major-specific requirements and all Colorado Mesa University graduation requirements, including GPA. Details of these requirements are found in the degree-specific transfer guide and on the student’s degree/program sheet. Students need to work closely with their advisors throughout the process.
