Kinesiology Department Scholarships

**Important:

  • These scholarships are only available to students without a prior baccalaureate degree, unless otherwise noted.
  • Value $amounts are subject to change pending funds available.
  • Deadline for all scholarships unless otherwise noted: March 1

 

Colorado Mesa University Academic (Colorado) Scholarship-Kinesiology

Value: Up to $1,000

Criteria:

  • Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.


Bradford, Neil Exercise Science/Sports Management Scholarship

Criteria:

  • Must attend Colorado Mesa University at least six credit hours per semester.
  • Must be majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and or Sports Management.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8.

 

Emerson Family Health Sciences Scholarship

Value: In-State Tuition, Fees and Books ( maximum of 15 credit hours per semester).

Criteria:

  • Must attend Colorado Mesa University full-time (at least 12 credits per semester).
  • Must be majoring in Health Sciences including kinesiology, radiology, and nursing.
  • Must be a Mesa County (Colorado) resident.
  • Incoming freshmen applicants must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 while in high school.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA term of the scholarship award.
