HVAC

Our environmental control crew maintains the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in campus buildings. Technicians operate and maintain campus buildings' mechanical and electrical systems in order to provide an environment conducive to the educational process. 

Their workshop is located Campus Services Shops building on Elm Avenue.  

What does the HVAC crew do?

  • Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems
  • Repair or replace standard building HVAC equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on existing equipment
  • Maintain building temperature and associated digital controls
  • Ensure air quality inside buildings
  • Monitor HVAC systems' efficiency 
  • Maintain high temperature hot water distribution systems
