BLM Fire Management Continuing Education

Colorado Mesa University works with the Western Division of the Bureau of Land Management to develop a series of courses to meet the new federally established educational requirements for the GS-401 employment classification.  Meetings with the BLM's Upper Colorado River Fire Management staff resulted in the creation of an eight-course certification program that satisfies the federal educational mandate.  The courses are available to BLM and Forest Service personnel for their professional development purposes.
