Biography

Pam Gardner is a clinical instructor for Level IV BSN Students in Community Health Settings. She has worked in a variety of community health settings, including case management nursing for Strive, a community organization that provides services to people with disabilities, and school nursing, providing health care to students from preschool to grade 12 in the school environment.

BSN students at Level IV enter the community health clinical rotation with a solid base of knowledge and skills, Gardner said. They have already been trained to identify their own objectives for learning while in their various clinical settings. As a clinical instructor, her goal is to support the students as they strive to meet their objectives and assist them in their efforts to make their clinical experience in community health as valuable and applicable to their future careers as possible.
