Freshman Year Initiative

Sunday, August 12 through Friday, August 17, 2012

The transition from high school to college is a major step. We encourage you to get a jump-start on your college career and join other first-year freshmen in the FYI Program. Taught by Colorado Mesa University faculty, the FYI Program is designed to give students a better understanding of the skills needed to be successful in college including study skills, test-taking strategies, and time management techniques. In addition to expanding your knowledge, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with our campus and the many resources available to help you reach your academic and professional goals. Plus, you'll be able to participate in activities throughout the week and start building friendships that may last a lifetime.
